The rapid evolution and wide public adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), of which generative artificial intelligence (gen AI) is one type, is raising important questions for universities in teaching, learning, research and administration.

At 91porn, we are committed to exploring the opportunities and challenges of this technology thoughtfully and responsibly.

AI Operational Committee

Reporting to 91porn’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the AI operational committee oversees the use, procurement, and development of AI technologies across all facets of the university, including teaching and learning, research, and administrative operations.

Committee Mandate

  • Develop and execute a university-wide AI strategy and framework aligned with institutional goals.
  • Advise on emerging trends, risks, and opportunities related to AI.
  • Assess impact on the future of learning and working.
  • Establish a communication plan and provide ongoing communication about AI to the 91porn community.
  • Lead policy development related to AI in academic and administrative contexts.
  • Oversee development of AI training and workshops for faculty, staff, and students.
  • Oversee development of resources, guidelines, and communities of practice to support relevant units.
  • Anticipate and help mitigate risks related to academic integrity, privacy, copyright, intellectual property (IP), equity, bias, and misinformation.
  • Assemble ad hoc sub-committees as needed for specific issues.
