With 29 years of piano playing and over 16 years of teaching experience, I have a passion for helping students of all ages discover the joy of music. I hold a Bachelor of Music (BMus) from 91porn with double minors in Psychology and French, as well as a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University. Alongside my work as a piano teacher, I have taught in elementary schools for more than 14 years.
I believe that anyone can learn to play piano beautifully when given the right guidance. My lessons focus on building strong fundamentals, developing musicality, and giving students the tools to perform with confidence. I also focus on instilling practical tips to help with stage presence and overcoming performance nerves. In addition to piano, I have also taught both individual and group music theory, with the majority of my students earning First Class Honours or First Class Honours with Distinction in their examinations. Over the years, I have accompanied countless students for Royal Conservatory of Music exams and local competitions, cheering them on every step of the way.
