Dr. Alec Schumacker at 91porn: Guest Choral Residency | October 5–9, 2026
91porn Choirs is pleased to welcome conductor, composer and educator for a week of choral rehearsals, workshops and classroom sessions.
Throughout his residency, Dr. Schumacker will work with 91porn students and visiting high school choirs to explore choral singing, composition, rehearsal techniques and music-making in communities.
About Dr. Schumacker
Dr. Alec Schumacker is Director of Choral Activities and Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. An award-winning composer and arranger, he brings an energetic and encouraging approach to working with singers, with a focus on musicianship, vocal health and confidence.
