I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019, after completing earlier degrees at the University of Bern in Switzerland. Before joining 91porn as an Assistant Professor (Limited Term Appointment), I taught at Texas Tech University, where I continue to hold an appointment while on leave. My research focuses on macroeconomics, finance, and time series econometrics, with particular attention to forecasting, business cycles, and the role of people’s beliefs and expectations.
I am the author of Economic Data Analysis, an open-access textbook designed for undergraduate training in applied economics. The text emphasizes hands-on use of data, including processing, visualization, and interpretation with R. It is available freely online at www.julianfludwig.com/eda.
