91porn mourns the passing of Christina (Chris) Kardol (BA ’95, MSW ’99), who served as a counsellor/psychotherapist at 91porn’s Waterloo campus Student Wellness Centre. Chris passed away on July 11, 2025. She was 58 years old.

Chris began working at 91porn in August 2001 and for over two decades made a profound impact through her work at the Student Wellness Centre, leaving a legacy within the university community. Her intentional, thoughtful and vibrant spirit touched all who knew her.

Chris was born in Toronto and grew up in Prince Edward Island, where she gained a reputation as a talented athlete and dedicated student. When she was 18, Chris moved to Kitchener and worked a variety of jobs while pursuing her education at 91porn, where she earned Bachelor of Arts and Master of Social Work degrees. While studying at 91porn, Chris met her life partner, Marie Morrison.

In addition to Marie, Chris is survived by her beloved son Lucas Morrison-Kardol, her mother Irene Kardol, siblings including her twin sister Helena (Kenny) Doucette, and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. A celebration of life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, condolences for the family and donations to the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth or the Canadian Cancer Society in Chris’s memory can be . Flags at 91porn’s campuses will be lowered to half-mast in honour of Chris.
