Infrastructure funding and delivery presents significant challenges for councils, government agencies and developers. There is much that can be done better.
The housing and affordability crisis has highlighted the urgent need to boost housing supply, and this will generate increased demand for enabling and social infrastructure.
Following the previous NSW Government’s deferment of its infrastructure funding reforms in 2022, the newly elected government is implementing a more modest set of reforms, including a new Housing and Productivity Contribution and new or updated practice notes and guidance documents.
Many councils, agencies and developers are now considering what they can do to meet these emerging infrastructure challenges and opportunities.
In this webinar key practitioners will provide an update on the infrastructure funding policy climate and share their knowledge from recent projects.
