Morning Session: Performance Based Planning
Greg Vincent - MasterPlan
Greg has been practising as a qualified town planner since 1993. In July 2003 Greg joined MasterPlan as a town planning consultant and continues to serve MasterPlan’s client base across State and local government, and the private sector.
Greg became a Director of MasterPlan in January 2008 and has expertise in a wide variety of planning and development matters. In addition to Greg’s expertise in South Australia, he is instrumental in extending MasterPlan’s services in the New South Wales and Western Australian planning jurisdictions.
Clients value Greg’s professional approach, working closely with authorities to find solutions to often challenging developments. This is evident through the relationships formed with a number of return clients, including Southern Cross Care, Alan Sheppard Constructions, Forme Projex, Discovery Parks, The Scentre Group, Axiom Limited, McGropoulos Pty Ltd and Resthaven.
Afternoon Session: Decision Making in Development Assessment
Emily Nankivell - Associate Director, Future Urban
Emily is a qualified town planner and lawyer who has more than 15 years’ experience working in the planning and development sector. She has an excellent understanding of statutory and strategic planning under the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 and Planning and Design Code.
Recently her work has been focused in the areas of strategic planning and community engagement expanding her understanding of the key issues facing the planning and development industry in South Australia.
Accredited Professionals
The Mandatory Requirements for re-accreditation are:
Planning level 1, Planning level 3, Planning level 4 and Surveyor (20 units)
20 CPD units in each 12 month accreditation period of which 8 units must be completed in the following professional competencies:
• 2 units in performance based planning
• 2 units in decision making in development assessment
• 2 units in legislative compliance
• 2 units in ethics in planning
Planning level 2 (10 units)
10 CPD units in each 12 month accreditation period of which 4 CPD units must be completed in the following professional competencies:
• 1 unit in performance based planning
• 1 unit in decision making in development assessment
• 1 unit in governance
• 1 unit in ethics in planning.
You can apply your CPD points for this course towards the following Accredited Professionals competency areas:
