- BRIEFING
- 1 CPD POINT
About the session:
We’ll describe how we’ve tracked the development of apartments against public transport service provision of a 19 year period from 2003 to 2022. We compare both apartment development numbers and population numbers to raw public transport services numbers, and to adjusted numbers taking account of changes to train and tram capacity. We examine both ‘horizontal equity’ (whether public transport has kept up with population growth over the period), and ‘vertical equity’, taking account of socio-economic advantage and disadvantage.
