Development Planning & Policy Coordinator
This opportunity offers:

- Attractive annual salary $107,458 - $118,942 p.a. plus 11% superannuation
- Location: West Pennant Hills (hybrid/flexible working arrangements considered)
An exciting opportunity exists to join our Development Planning and Policy team who are currently progressing an update of Planning for Bush Fire Protection 2019, the primary bush fire planning document in NSW. In this role you will be supported to autonomously research, develop, and implement important policies & guidelines to guide land-use planning and development in bush fire prone areas with the goal of improving community safety.
As our ideal candidate, you will:
- Have recent experience researching and developing policy or guidelines
- Have a broad understanding of the legislated role in which the RFS plays within the NSW planning framework
- Be results-focused with a can-do attitude
- Have the ability to lead collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders
- A detailed understanding of, & experience using, Planning for Bush Fire Protection 2019 is highly advantageous
